For any pilot having to renew their FCL.055 exam or pass it for the first time FCL.055D. Also, pilots who wish to take the FCL exam in English for international radiotelephony.
Our language proficiency certificate is recognised in all European countries. Pilots use ICAO English for language assessments. You must have a sufficient level of expression and comprehension in English to enter any foreign airspace within Europe. This requirement applies to all aircraft pilots, commercial or otherwise.
There are two versions depending on the flight rules you use: FCL.055 VFR and FCL.055 IFR.

The exam scoring system is defined by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). The exam is graded on a scale of 6 levels.
